Basilica | |
| The Basilica in Trier was originally built in 306 by Emperor Costantine as a throne room. The huge building (it could accomodate the Porta Nigra twice over) was one of largest halls of antiquity, lavishly decorated with marple and gold mosaics. Today, the Basilica, equipped with under-floor heating serves as a protestant church. | ||
