Martinsburg Castle |
| The Martinsburg Castle,on a on the Rhine in Oberlahnstein was built around 1324 as a toll station, together with the town fortifications. From 1719 till 1721 the castle was converted into a baroque residential Schloss. The former water castle consists of an ensemble of buildings around a square bailey, an arch gate with portcullis, a fine cast oriel and a coat of arms. | |
